Lenicalc by ENEA
Lenicalc is a digital calculator developed by ENEA to evaluate the relationship between spatial configuration, energy consumption, and sustainability performance.
The tool enables the analysis of buildings and spaces by translating geometric and spatial parameters into energy-related indicators, supporting designers, researchers, and public bodies in assessing efficiency, impact, and optimization potential.
By connecting spatial data with energy metrics, Lenicalc supports informed decision-making in the early stages of design and planning, fostering more efficient use of resources and contributing to the development of sustainable built environments.
As part of the SEC ecosystem, Lenicalc was positioned as:
- A technical, modular tool supporting the analysis of spaces and buildings within energy communities
- A neutral, institutional calculator suitable for public administrations, research activities, and EU-funded projects
- A bridge between spatial design, energy efficiency, and sustainability assessment
